Vendor experience research

Learning what small vendors need to present their work well

Small businesses often manage sales, customer questions, fulfilment and promotion with limited time. This survey asks which marketplace tools and guidance would make it easier to publish accurate listings and respond professionally.

Why we are asking

Vendor needs differ by business model. A service provider may need availability and quote tools, while a product seller may focus on variants, inventory and delivery information. Digital creators and affiliate publishers face other disclosure and fulfilment requirements. Feedback helps separate essential workflow needs from features that look impressive but add little day-to-day value.

What this survey explores

  • The steps that make creating and maintaining listings unnecessarily difficult.
  • Which enquiry, pricing, media and performance tools would be most practical.
  • What guidance would improve listing quality, policy awareness and buyer confidence.

How feedback may be used

The team may review responses as grouped themes when planning vendor documentation and platform improvements. A requested feature may still require testing, moderation safeguards or a phased rollout. Participation does not create a vendor agreement, approval, income promise or priority access to a future service.

Privacy reminder: Share operational needs without disclosing customer lists, passwords, tax identifiers, private financial records or confidential contracts. You may describe your business type in general terms. Use the vendor application or official support process for an account-specific request.
